You need to move between platforms, avoid traps, activate checkpoints, and eventually reach the blue goal gem. Coins are also placed throughout the stages. Collecting them adds another objective for players who want more than simply reaching the finish. The game becomes considerably more interesting when portals enter the picture. A portal can change your character's form or modify the way movement works. You may suddenly find yourself controlling a ship, ball, UFO, or wave instead of using the standard movement style. That variety prevents the campaign from feeling like a series of identical obstacle courses.

When a portal changes your character, don't assume the movement will feel identical. Give yourself time to understand how the new form behaves. This is especially important when multiple portals appear close together.
A failed run can reveal the location of a hidden hazard, the timing required for a jump, or the safest way through a narrow passage. Instead of immediately repeating the same approach, identify what caused the failure and change one part of your strategy.
This becomes particularly valuable in Blind Mode. If you already know where an invisible obstacle is located, you can prepare your movement before reaching it. Knowledge effectively becomes your visual guide.
